Gazi University Autism and Developmental Disorders Research and Application Center was established after approximately a year of effort with the joint endeavour of more than thirty researchers from different universities. The establishment process, which was initiated by experts coming together for seminars aimed at comprehensive professional solidarity and development, was completed with the publication in the Official Gazette on September 3, 2021.
The center aims to take a transdisciplinary approach while providing education and consultancy services to individuals, families, professionals and institutions. In this context, the needs of individuals, families, professionals and institutions requesting support will be addressed with a transdisciplinary approach, and instead of trying to reduce the problems with a one-way service provision, they will be solved by experts from more than one discipline working in cooperation towards the same goal.
The center aims to organize its research and development-oriented studies with a transdisciplinary effort. The objective is to organize studies on problems and solutions in the relevant field on the basis of supporting research teams that come together for common goals.
